@ccpickre “It kept the heart of what made ST great” How can you claim to know the hart of Star Trek when you don’t know the characters of Star Trek and you don’t pay attention to the points of the stories. Hollywood is the means to an end for true artists; it’s a pay day for people like Jar Jar Abrams. Roddenberry envisioned a future where the ultimate challenge was “To enrich ones self” (Picard EP The Neutral-Zone). Not “use the force Kirk”.

@alcibiade666 I’m surprised Bondfreek and Trekfreek haven’t been kicked out of youtube for all the trolling they do and their lack of wisdom, or rather their anti-wisdom, especially involving Star Trek.

An excellent film, but it needed more Starship combat. Hope the next Star Trek movie has a big fleet battle with lots of Starships everywhere and plenty of those scenes, about a quarter of the film…

The movie is great, truly awesome. But I wonder why Abrams cut two superbattles between the Klingons and the Narada, and the Federation’s rescue mission for Vulcan against the Narada. If that two battles were in the movie, then certainly Star Trek had much more young fans. I really like the sapce battles. The battle of Deep Space Nine was awesome to, so it is really regrettable that they were cut out.

@epsilon292 You’ re right, the starship battles are really awesome. It’s a shame that the two battles between the Klingons and the Federation against the Narada is cut out. I don’t know if you know the battle of (Star Trek) Deep Space nine, but that was also a great starship battle.

@8sdbv So you think that movies that have explosions every 10 minutes and has a main moral of Do what you want, disrespect authority, feel the force around you and rely on coincidences to get you through life an awesome movie? Really?

The Movie was amazing, I loved it, Trek was reborn, its weird, most trek fans loved the alternate timeline episodes, whe nit happens in a film its NO NO NO thats not trek, it is and its brilliant, When I saw this trailer for the first time in a cinema i think I actually wet myself, cant remember what film I saw, but I remember the emotions I felt upon viewing the trailer, STAR TREK IS BACK

@marcsharp82 Most Of “The alternate timeline episodes” in Star Trek were fixed by the end of the episodes, the few that weren’t sucked or was just a way to give the fans a happy ending (like in Voyager’s final episode.) But “The alternate timeline” is not the end all and be all of what is wrong with this movie. The biggest problem we have with the movie is it has no morality or political point. The second is the science in it SUCKS. ST XI should be renamed Star Wars : Attack of Jar Jar Abrams.

@Nelli888 You have been asking that dumb Question for over a year now and everyone has told you the same answer over and over! Who are you Doery from the movie “Finding Nemo”?
