@AeroBeatlesDoorsLed It was sad, but at least Picard proved Kirk wrong, he didn’t die alone

i feel some of the writing decisions in the new star trek film were to fix the mistakes made by this one aka kirks death and so on.

It’s Kind of disappointing to not see Spock and It was also sad that Kirk Die.
EyEnOtgAysays
@Btushinsky83 cause spock had better shit to do than appear in a movie he thought would suck, and it did suck lol

alhough it has many logical errors, this movie was a real star trek movie. to see picard and kirk working together is unique

@Santaslayr Why over the others, just curious?

I’m not a very big Trekkie, but I love this movie. But as a kid I used to see TNG.
Koldemansays
This trailer is better than the movie. It makes it look like Kirk is actually on-board the Enterprise-D and working with the TNG crew- which would have been a helluva better scenario than having just the two captains duking it out with a mad scientist in the middle of the desert. This movie has SO MANY missed opportunities. Unfortunately, this trailer only helps show the glaring epic “what if’s” that the feature itself failed to deliver.

i didnt care so much that kirk died…. but man if data’s cat had died i’d have been pissed
Bla31nsays
Seeing the ENT-D crash and Captain Kirk die was sacraligious.

Star Trek plus Gustav Holst!
GrumpyG58says
Any reason the trailer shows you exactly everything that happens in the movie?

@Santaslayr You’re entitled to your opinion and yes it was a epic cinematic storyline that brought the casts from the original series and TNT!

All credit to Channel 4(Television channel in Britain) to have shown all the feature films from the Motion Picture 1979 to “Nemesis” 2003 on 10 consecutive Saturdays. Now this weekend, they are showing them all 10 films over 2 days!!!!
kylephantom4says
it was a touching film that ended captain jame st kirks journey as a starfleet officer

I can forgive the destruction of the Enterprise D, but I really, really, REALLY wished they hadn’t killed off Kirk.
