Maria asks…
I need help understanding the starcraft 2 league system?
Ok i understand it for the most part however a component of it confuses me. I always hear people saying “im 1900 diamond” what does the 1900 mean and how does one check for this number?
admin answers:
The low down is that there are 7 leagues. They are:
Bronze- People who just got the game
Silver- People who play maybe 2-3 times a week
Gold- Serious Silver players
Platinum- Super serious Gold Players
Diamond- People who understand the game but dont play everyday. The analogy here is like low quality caviar. Good but not there yet.
Masters- Represents 2% of the best masters players
Grandmasters- Pros.
However, when someone says:
“Im a 1900 masters”
This means that he has 1900 points, and is in the masters league.
Points?
Points are points that you can get from ANYTHING.
Starcraft 2 has a built in Achievment system that gives you points if you get an acheivement.
For example, RootDestiny:
In this link:
The first achievment- winning 1000 matches playing zerg, gives him a total of 80 points! WOW!
And if you look underneath his name, in white is the number 3250. That means hes gotten a LOT of achievments to get 3000 points!
So all in all, points are just a way to see how many acheivements you’ve gathered, and is not related to skill in any way.
Hope that helped

when u play SC2 (Starcraft 2) what race are u gonna start with?
im gonna probably be protoss
admin answers:
Terran will probably be pretty popular since the campaign is going to be all Terran, so people will get to know the units and strategies that way.
So I’ll probably start out with Terran after I beat the campaign.

starcraft 2………………?
is starcraft 2 really worth getting? im debating
admin answers:
Yes, its a great game. Most of the differences between starcraft and starcraft2 is mostly fan submitted improvements. The multiplayer has been tweaked so that each place is even more different then the other 2 yet more balanced then they were in SC1. They put alot of work into the game and its well worth the $60. That is if you like real-time strategy games, there not for everyone. You can go to there website here http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/, and get a closer look at the game if you haven’t already. I hope it helps, its an expensive game but 10 years later people will still be playing it, i guarantee it!
Carol asks…
How do you be good at starcraft 2 multiplayer?
I am terrible at playing starcraft 2 online. (Lucky for me I won the last mach.) But I would like to know why am I so bad at playing Competitive games? I rarely played the starcraft 2. (IT is not my style but I just want to play it for how popular it is?
I was wondering what are some good Tips and Tricks to play Starcraft 2? For Zerg Terran and Protoss?
admin answers:
Practice, practice, and more practice. You’ll get used to seeing a lot of different rushes and cheesy tactics, but you’ll have to learn to adapt. Watch replays online and if you need, read strategy guides.
