i have a star trek concordance 1976 1st edition Oct.does anyone know what it would be worth? Its in almost new shape or where i can find its value?
I have one of the largest star trek collections in ohio…the stuff has gone down sharply in the last few years and your piece retails usually for about ten bucks….mego toys are the stuff to buy…rare and usually highly sought after.
As a huge Star Trek fan, I was just wondering if the Star Trek creators would ever consider making a movie in which explains the Borg origin to existence? How they started, how they became so dependence on technology, etc. or better yet actually, if you guys remember the Star Trek Voyager episode in which that onc Q wanted the freedom to commit suicide. And during a conversation with Tovuc, he uses the analogy: “to other less advanced species, Voyager seems extremely powerful. It’s no different with the Q continuum and you guys.” I found that very interesting, how did the Q develop into such godlike figures?
I would like to see something about How the Borg started. Q would be the one to do it. He could transport a crew back in time, they could meet what seems to be nice folks who are experimenting with cybernetics. The crew realizes they are the early Borg, and then they must decide if they tinker with the time line or leave it be.

What season one Star Trek episodes are best as an introduction to Star Trek?
I have a friend who has never seen Star Trek, and in order to prepare him for the upcoming movie, I’d like to show him a few episodes from the original series. I have the remastered first season, and am trying to decide which to show. Which would be best? I might show him three or four.
Wow! Tough one. I would have to say that City on the Edge of Forever Is a must.
After that I would say Balance of Terror (because it will likely be most similar to the movie, The Galileo Seven ( a great one for understanding characters and one of the few in Season one with a lot of Scotty) and then I think “Devil in the Dark”
The 3 points mentioned above by marc are unimportant and never mentioned in the series itself.
I will say that one’s I would avoid are Charlie X, The Menagerie, Court Martial, Miri, The Man Trap, The Enemy Within, Conscience of the King. I was going to also exclude “where no man has gone before” but that one could be interesting since it is a very early one and Spock is fairly emotional but it depends on how he is played in the movie. I would probably avoid “Mudd’s Women” since the comedic episodes probably are not good as an introduction.
