Why do so many people like Star Trek First Contact more than the other Star Trek: Next Generation movies?
Please give me some details here. I personally thought that all the other Next Gen movies were BETTER than First Contact. But evidentally – earned more than any other Trek movie besides the current one.

Star Trek: First Contact question: why do you think film makers made the leader of the borg a female?
I personally thought it was to emphasize that there can be female leaders in the world. But I also personally thought that they portrayed females as evil leaders?
admin answers:
You’re partly right, but the real reason was/is that the Borg are a hive mind.
They speak,and act,as one.
And,since all hives have a leader, and that leader is always a female (queen bee,for example) they made the leader a female.
Essentially,she’s the Queen Borg.

What happened to the USS Voyager, when Earth was assimilated during Star Trek: First Contact?
But it can be seen that the other Starfleet ships are there anymore, when the time gate opens, but only the Enterprise-E is not assimaleted.
admin answers:
Dear Amroth
The deviation from the original history forced a “new timeline”, in which Earth never joined the UFP, and Voyager never existed. Once Enterprise intervened, a 3rd timeline was created… One that more closely paralleled the original.
