Trailers don’t give away the entire story lol

Oh, I remember doing stuff like this at school! Except we had to compose the trailer music as well – damn, I miss gcse music class…

Hey, what’s the song that play’s from the beggining? I think i’ve heard in some other movie but i can’t remember which from. :)
commandox20 says
No. Trailers are designed soley to get the audience to sit in the seats and watch the movie. The MOVIE is there to tell a story.
The best trailers are the ones that entice you to see the film, without giving away what happens in the film. Less is more.

the music from the beginning is the cold case theme
lapere says
well done, hope you got an “A”.
xxYaminoHikarixx says
Well, to be fair, this doesn’t really give away the WHOLE STORY. I mean, you have to remember that you’ve already seen this movie.
Like, the intro video to Persona 3 (game) tells you the whole story….you just don’t know that until you’ve already seen the whole story xD
Besides, this is better than Nu!Trek’s trailer, that advertised itself as a straight-up prequel, only for it to turn out that it’s an AU with a screwed up Spock. xD
WhySoSerious0331 says
Wow… in a word EPIC! I think this is one of the best tribute trailers I’ve ever seen for this film, and excellent job throwing the audience off by showing the “dead” characters at the end. The final shit (Spock’s coffin) in conjunction with Kirk’s “I don’t believe…” line is priceless… you really captured the unique brilliance of the film. I sure as hell hope you got an A lol. Keep up the good work.

This is quite possibly more than I ever could have achieve.
Did you use Final Cut Pro ???
ewtng says
I took a Final Cut Pro class a couple semesters ago.

Centurty?

This was good, gives the movie a fresh sort of feel, but somehow it tries to cast the film in an action drama genre that it is not akin to. I kept waiting to see Nicolas Cage or Bruce Willis show up somewhere. Overall, it was a good job, may have been better if it was a minute or two shorter.
