Spock mother was human…. he had some emotions.. It´s logical.
bunnimaidahunni says
@Blizziced Vulcans do have emotions…. Geez, what kind of noob are you? When I was 7 I knew that. Vulcans suppress their emotions.
Even if Spock were not half human, emotions would still be there.
Don’t be sure, man, unless you do the research.
Big Star Trek fan here.
Gizziiusa says
its not logical to see spock with emotion. very confusing indeed. Fascinating.
dodopedia says
@WhenYouveGoneGuru
That’s Kolinahr, which is a ritual that a minority of Vulcans choose to undergo. It takes several years to reach the state of pure logic that Kolinahr represents, and most end up failing for some reason or other. Spock was one of the Vulcans that failed in their attempt.
The Pon Farr is a forced time of mating, due to a chemical imbalance that causes madness in the brain. If a Vulcan does not sate the madness (Plak Tow) he/she will die.
TL;DR – You’re right on both counts :)
StoneKnivesBearskins says
I don’t have any emotions either. LOL
chrstine2012 says
@Gizziiusa It is, in fact, logical because you can see that Spock is a human and a Vulcan. They are showing us his human side as well as his Vulcan
Gizziiusa says
@chrstine2012 Fair enough. I guess it was strange to see so much emotion from him in this complied clip that it was quite bizarre.
VinnyMonster1 says
@bunnimaidahunni Agreed, but if he were a full Vulcan, its likely you’d neber see them.

I don’t like it when he smiles or shows any emotions. I think the basic appeal of Spock is his lack of emotions.
Jokaanan says
Not to detract from the very valid point of this video… but in a lot of these clips, Spock’s mind is diseased or under alien control. @0:35 is my favourite example of a sincere emotional reaction from Spock himself.
Jokaanan says
@sonymancer Or perhaps like Romulans ;)
ThexMasterxDetective says
OMG LOL Can I just say..SPOCKS LAUGH AND SMIEL IS ABSOULTYY ADORABLE!
justwatching234 says
In all of these clips, there are external circumstances – disease, strange environment, etc. – that are messing with Spock’s logic, except for the “JIM!”
So…yeah. He’s logical.
bschoe2 says
what a bitch.
SaysSoMatt says
Isn’t he supposed to be half human?
moontoot says
I like the part where spock is smoking reefer with that gnome.
