So wait.
That’s why Q introduced humanity to the Borg? So he could dick around with this one kid and ship?
And I thought Q was on probation since the events of Deja Q. Why isn’t the Continuum slapping him down and stripping his powers again?
Why can a simple procedural error with a bridge console kill you? Why is there an access port to the ship’s computer on a regular terminal, within bumbling range of every ensign with a USB stick, which grants unlimited access to the ship’s computer? – –

– – Was the ship designed and audited by Friend Computer?
And to put the ending into context, that battle they are dumped into is First Contact. And they are useless there, too.
And then the Abrams film comes along and erases their continuity.

@PanzerDivisionBOM The answer to all your questions is “It’s Star Trek, roll with it”.

They aren´t making games like this anymore – good and bad points :p

I hope that John de Lancie (Q) got paid well for this performance. He carried the entire game! As an aside, he helped get Kate Mulgrew (Cptn. Janeway) her job as they are close friends off the screen.

That Captain is a right prick, he makes Edward Jellico look like a nice guy.

You know, I never realized this until now… at the beginning of this, the female officer mentions that the massacre at Wolf 359 took place ten years ago. In the Star Trek chronology, that date was 2367. So, that places the events of this video in or around 2377. That said, the characters are wearing outdated Starfleet uniforms. The grey-shouldered uniforms of the latter part of DS9 were instituted in 2373. I’m sure this has been pointed out many times before. I just find it interesting.

‘Q’ is my favorite character of the whole franchise! Thanks for posting this :)

Why did the dude who played this mess up so much? He could have read the instructions instead of bumbling around!
cubex55says
@pjcrafty Did you even for 1 second bother to read the video info? :P

see? this is why I would never want to be rescued by star trek and its sucurity. Over half would be dead by the time they reach me and then the rest (including me) would be dead before we even reached the ship.

Quite a few of the moments I laughed at most were got to by screwing up. Floating-Head Q informing you of the tricorder’s information with sarcastic surprise, for example.

BEST GAME EVER. Just started, but I accidentally chose to run away from adventure. But seriously, Q’s comments? How come nobody noticed? How come nobody cared Sprint was Borg?
DarthRushysays
Time to go assimilating…
DarthRushysays
I wish that the storyline where you become the Evil Borg(not the one where you remain as Sprint the Borg) continued til the end. Oh, and how come nobody cared Sprint was a Borg?
DarthRushysays
Why the hell does Q keep telling me idiot and shoving that tricorder in my face?
